     Happy New Year! Welcome 2014, the year of Horse!

     January is our “Culture Month”. There are various activities going on in XIS Elementary School Mandarin classrooms.

     Kindergarten classes are rehearsing for their CNY performance. They will also make traditional paper-cutting for window decorations.

     Grade 2+3 Mandarin A classes are closing up their current units and will move on to Chinese Culture studies.

     Grade 5 Mandarin B class is working on a New Year Celebration Presentation, which will be presented in the CNY assembly.

     Please mark on your calendar on the 24th for the XIS CNY Celebration @9am-11am. Come to support our students for being multi-cultural international mildness. Thank you!
